Although it has once again become a buyers’ market, moving at a more moderate pace than during the post-Covid frenzy, professionals in the sector consider the first months of the year to be positive — even excellent.
La Libre Essentielle Immo brought together several real estate agents specializing in the high-end segment for a roundtable discussion about this very specific market, also known as the “prestige real estate” sector.
Among the participants were Sébastien Kuperfis, President of the Junot Group, and Théo Werner Pretat, Chief Operating Officer for Belgium.
Both shared their analysis of the market and explained the current dynamics: while purchase decisions may take longer — especially when the stock market dips — one point is unanimously agreed upon: properties requiring renovation attract little interest, unless they are offered at a particularly appealing price.
